01Quotes & Scope
Quotes are based on the photos, measurements, condition, and project direction provided before work begins. If the scope changes or hidden damage is discovered, Broken Souls will pause and discuss options before continuing with additional work.
02Deposits & Scheduling
A project deposit may be required to reserve studio time, order materials, and begin preparation. Once a project is scheduled and materials are committed, deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
03Hidden Damage
Stripping, sanding, or cleaning can reveal water damage, veneer failure, smoke odor, weak joints, old repairs, or material problems that were not visible at intake. Some hidden issues can affect timeline, price, or final finish options.
04Custom Finish Approval
Paint colors, stains, sheen levels, hardware choices, and finish direction should be approved before final application. Natural wood, old finishes, and lighting can affect how colors and stains appear in real life.
05Pickup, Delivery & Storage
Finished pieces should be picked up, delivered, or scheduled for return promptly once complete. If a finished piece is left without pickup or delivery arrangements for an extended period, storage fees may apply.
06Care After Return
Restored furniture should be treated like quality furniture: avoid standing water, harsh cleaners, extreme heat, and dragging sharp items across the finish. When provided, the touch-up kit is meant for small future marks, not major damage.
07Rescue Pieces
Furniture rescue submissions are selective. Submitting a piece does not guarantee pickup, acceptance, purchase, trade, or restoration. Broken Souls may decline pieces that do not fit the studio standard.
08Liability Boundaries
Broken Souls handles accepted pieces with care, but pre-existing weakness, hidden structural issues, unstable materials, prior repairs, or damage caused after return are outside the studio's control. The goal is always careful restoration, not unnecessary risk.
